Spangler Competition set to make season Debut this Saturday Night at Lincoln Speedway.

Mike Spangler can’t wait to hit the track this Saturday. Some unfortunate circumstances kept the team from starting their season on time this year, but now they are ready to roll. “I can’t think of a better place to start my season.” said Mike. “I love Lincoln Speedway, It’s close to home and I have had a lot of success at Lincoln.” Mike will have his car on display prior to the night’s activities. Please stop by and say hello. This week’s race pays $1000.00 to win and is sponsored by Baker Door Company.

Mike has tried to clear the rust off prior to this week’s race. Mike has tried to shake down a new FRYECO owned #F1 super late model at Selinsgrove Speedway a couple of times this year only to fall victim of rain after warm-ups. “It was an honor to have Ronnie Frye approach me about shaking down a new car for Colby. Ronnie has had some of the area’s best drivers in his cars and he put me in some awesome equipment. I was excited to be able to help him out, unfortunately Mother Nature didn’t cooperate” Said Spangler.

The team’s immaculate Rocket race cars will once again be on both Hoosier and American Racer tires, Integra Shocks and have Bob Weaver Chevrolet power under the hood. Sponsorship will come from Cedar Lake Campground, Baker Door Company, FRYECO Inc., Mann-i-cures, Etc. & K.R.S. Graphics. “I’m really excited to get going” said Mike from the teams shop Monday afternoon. “I really need to thank all my sponsors, for sticking with me all these years. We won two races last year and our goal is to try to double that. We have put ourselves out of the points with the late start, so our goal is to jump around and race when and where we want, but mostly have fun” added Spangler. “Since I made the switch to Integra Shocks we have been going better and they have come on board to help us out even more this year”. “Without the super people at Cedar Lake, FRYECO & Baker Doors I wouldn’t be able to what I love to do.”

Mike would like to thank his sponsors, Cedar Lake Campground, FRYECO Inc., Baker Door Company, Mann-i-cures, Etc. and K.R.S. Graphics along with associate sponsorship from American Racers, Integra Shocks & Springs, Hoosier Racing Tires, Rocket Chassis, Sweeney Signs, Weaver Racing Engines, Weld Wheels & WRT Web Designs.
